After Monday´s Bodyworks session, where I spent an hour solely doing the various exercises Libby had given me, I went back to see her and she´s basically given me the all clear to start running again. Excellent news, but the hip´s (sorry, pelvis - apparently your hips are at the top of your thighs, not just below your waist [where she has her hands]) not quite back to normal. It´ll be a balance between training and injury (as ever).On the disappointing (Ed´s note - cue toy throwing and foot stomping) news front, PJ has had to pull out of the Kepler due to illness. I´m hugely disappointed for her (get well soon PJ!) but also disappointed for me that my next 60km training jaunt will be a solo and a familiar face would have been great at the start line.
I ask again, isn´t this getting fit thing meant to be good for us??
